You can use fly to describe anything you think is really cool. It is a synonym of other slang words like sweet, dope, deck, awesome and boss.

Fly is most often used in relation to stylish things, like clothing, shoes or cars. For example, if your friend arrives at your house with some new shoes, you could tell him his new shoes are fly. Or, if you see a shirt at the store that you like, you could say, “This shirt is fly. I want to get it.”
