Sometimes it takes a little while before you realize you’re angry about something. When Jason casually mentioned to Mason that he’s been hanging out with Mason’s girlfriend, Amanda, Mason seemed to think that was a little strange. But, according to Beren, he’s pretty hot under the collar about the whole thing. However, Jason, who is meditating after a day of Olympic training, seems to think it will be alright.

Jason

Beren:  Oh. My. God. Jason, I have been looking everywhere for you. You will not believe, you will not believe what’s going on.

Jason:  What’s going on?

Beren:  Mason is super pissed. He’s gonna kill you.

Jason:  No, he’s not.

Beren:  Yes, yes he is. He’s gonna murder you.

Jason:  Why would he do that?

Beren:  Because of Amanda, maybe? Ring a bell?

Jason:  What about her?

Beren:  You’ve been hanging out with her, man.

Jason:  Yeah, Mason knows.

Beren:  Are you sure?

Jason:  Yeah, I just talked to him about it.

Beren:  When did you talk to him?

Jason:  Earlier today.

Beren:  What time?

Jason:  Two or so, something like that.

Beren:  Because I just ran into him. I don’t think he’s too happy. He was asking me all these questions, like dates, times, places and I just said I don’t know because I don’t know.

Jason:  Well, he was probably just double checking because I talked to him and it’s totally platonic, the me and Amanda thing. I’m totally not interested anymore, you know.

Beren:  Anymore?

Jason:  Well, I was, obviously.

Beren:  Yeah, yeah.

Jason:  But even if they weren’t together I don’t think I’d be interested anymore, you know?

Beren:  Really?

Jason:  Yeah.

Beren:  Alright, you definitely…cool. Maybe I misread him. Hard guy to read. Maybe I misread him. But he seemed kind of pissed and he did say he was going to kill you. Which led me to believe that he might be upset.

Jason:  I don’t know, I talked to him and it seemed like it was cool. I mean, he might be a little jealous, I guess, but I don’t know. We’re just gonna be friends. It’s fine.

Beren:  That’s cool. Good to know. I’ll leave you.
