Here’s some advice: if anyone ever says he’s going to off you, start running. To off someone means to kill someone.

Recently, a rumor spread the over internet that Zach Braff had committed suicide by swallowing too many pills. When Braff says he wouldn’t off himself with pills, he means he wouldn’t kill himself that way. He jokes that he’d do it by banging himself over the head with pots and pans instead.

Killing is one of those things that isn’t very pleasant to talk about directly. So a lot of different words, or euphemisms, have been developed to refer to it indirectly. Someone could say he’s going to take you out, do you in, take care of you, or terminate you. It all means the same thing. Run.

Some of the most colorful euphemisms for killing were developed by (who else?) gangsters in the 1930s. To put someone in cement boots doesn’t mean to provide someone with unusual footwear. It means to weigh someone down with concrete after killing him, so that when he’s tossed underwater his body won’t come floating back up to the surface.

Zach Braff makes a joke about the rumor someone spread that he’d killed himself. But gossip can be hurtful. Has anyone ever spread a false rumor about you?

Sports and Wine do go hand in hand. Your favorite NFL team is no different from a bottle of your favorite vintage: each has their own aggressive or sublime taste, characteristic flavor and color which makes every bottle distinguishable from other blends. If you had to pick one kind of wine to describe your favorite NFL or Football team which would you brand as their official Sports wine? I am a big Colts fan and I would have to say that If I had to pick one blend of wine that embodies the athleticism and precision of this team it would have to be a finely aged Beauregard Ducort Blanc. Crisp, with a sharp flavor that goes right to your palette; this is why the Ducort Blanc is a favorite among wine connoisseurs and individuals who like that extra kick in their glass of white. This is exactly how I would quote the offensive strategy that Colts bring down to NFL rivalries if I had to describe them using wine speak. The Ducort Blanc is not for the feint hearted, you need experience and expertise in wine tasting to fully appreciate its strong flavor and sharp bouquet, much like how the Colts would appeal to hardcore football fans.

So far, as I have ever known, nobody has done something like that to me. How lucky is that! But some of my classmates in highschool did talk behind me which pissed me off a little bit, but you know, I had to let it go! They just got me wrong, they didn't know me, like what I am like, how I work things, they knew nothing about me. They didn't spread rumors but just judged me wrongly. But I get over it now, not everyone is your friend. And I am in college now, some people like to do that, to spread some kind of rumors but no harm, just me and some girl dating or in a relationship, well, it's no big deal. At least someone is paying attention to me! So, I am totally fine if the rumors are about that.
