I was reading a thriller novel and tried to sleep after reading several pages. However, this book is such a page-turner!!! XDD I can't stop reading it.
Page-turner: A really good book that you don't want to put down because you want to see what will happen. It can also be used to describe any really interesting or engrossing situation where you can't wait to see what comes next.
我本來在閱讀驚悚小說,嘗試著閱讀幾面後, 就要讓自己睡著。但是這本小說真的是"page-turner"!!! 我沒辦法停止繼續看下去~
"Page-turner"的意思很簡單唷~我都用這個詞來形容一本好看的書。 page就是「頁」, turn就是「翻」~你會一直翻頁看下去, 那就是代表書好看。所以page-turner就是形容「書本好看到極點, 無法停下翻頁閱讀」。
