When something is stuck, it isn’t moving anywhere. You push, poke, and kick, but it doesn’t budge. Finally, you grab hold and pull. Then, pop! It’s out.
It’s tough to pull something that’s stuck out of its spot. Whether it’s a box back against a wall or a zipper that won’t move up, it’s going to take a lot of work to make the item move. When you pull through a difficult situation, you have to work hard, too. If you’re heartbroken, you have to pull through the sadness until you finally feel better. If you’re stuck in a stressful situation at work, you need to pull through the worry until you can talk to your boss and make things better.
For India de Beaufort, making it through high school was hard work. She had to pull through the classes, tests, and friendship problems until she finally graduated. But she made it! With enough patience, you can almost always pull through anything.
When have you pulled through a hard situation in life? How long did it take to find a solution?
