Let’s say you’re a famous author. You have written ten books that can be found in English, Spanish, Russian, and thirteen other languages around the world. You spend your days writing, and you spend your nights dreaming about writing. It’s all that you ever do. But in your heart, there is something more that you’ve always wanted to do. What you really want is to try your hand at being a professional singer.

If you want to try your hand at something, you’re interested in trying an activity for the first time. You may believe that you’ll do well, or you may not, but you’re curious enough to try it even if you fail. Anyone can try their hand at something, from babies to grandparents. All that you need is a good attitude!
