i would like to blaze a trail, doing something else, i dont know maybe in another place to work it could be possible :

Just like you, I almost spent 12 years at shcool learning English, and to myself, my peers and my teachers I was the best student at English, and then afterwards,just after I finished my high school, I found out that I wasted a bunch of years learning the wrong way and had to just start afresh :)) But to be honest, it would have been a bit difficult without that 12-years experience :)

I also don’t mind finding myself in the middle of a contradiction. Someone smart used to say it’s the best place to be ;) But I get the meaning, everything makes perfect sense :)
As for the dinosaur, I am not the only one here. I can see many of us prehistoric creatures ( No offense, pls) roaming around on this site to unleash their wisdom. :)

I remember a movie, Million Dollar Baby. It was starred by this actress, Hilary Swank, and it told the story of a female boxer who blazed a trail in boxing. It was amazing, one of my best movies.

@ Shoba ,  i agree with you and  Buttafly, to be a blaze trailer is not a easy task .Of billions of people on this planet earth only a handful  are destined  to stand out  to the point of being looked upon as blaze trailers.  But  as Buttafly  pointed out  , in our small world we can be role models for our childrens  and i am sure that  this is your case.

@albasel1975 While English,baby! didn’t invent online English lessons, they certainly have blazed a trail for its users. Just look around for dinosaur users like me :))

@Shoba You’ve already blazed a trail for your child, dear. Just keep doing what you’re doing and you make your child see how he/she can cut a path for him/herself. But yeah..I agree, not such an easy task to do :))

Oh, yes, I know few trailblazers and one of them is Mahatma Gandhi.

He was just a simple man who blazed his own trail of peace in India. He organized a movement and led the Indian people on a new path to eliminate British rule in a peaceful way. 

I like the example sentence given above, “If you want people to remember you, you need to blaze a trail in your life.”

I do want people to remember me, but what to do, blazing a trail doesn’t seem like an easy task. 

Once, I read a statement written by  M. Leighton , in fact it was very difficult to reach the real meaning of it…now after this interesting lesson…I got it clearly. She said : 

So, the meaning of ” blaze a trail ” is : To lead the way.
