Do you remember when you first started school? There was probably a kid who sat at the front of the class, and raised his or her hand to try and answer every question the teacher asked. He or she also probably told the teacher if any other students did something bad. Every school has at least one goody two shoes.
A goody two shoes is a person who always does the right thing and never gets in trouble, to the point where it is annoying to other people. People like to have fun and sometimes break the rules, so when they see a goody two shoes, it can often make them upset. It’s good to follow the rules, but sometimes a goody two shoes can take it too far.
Actress Elizabeth Banks says she was not quite the goody two shoes in college that most people thought. She believes that everybody breaks the rules, even if it seems like some people do not.
Are you a goody two shoes? Why or why not?
