Life is long. As we go through life, we meet a lot of new people and make a lot of friends. However, sometimes, friends move away, go to a different school, or just start hanging out with a different group of people. In this busy world, it can be difficult to keep in contact with the people we care about. What do you do to stay in touch?

We use the expression stay in touch to talk about keeping in contact with people who are far away. For example, if you study abroad, you might stay in touch with your family through Skype or FaceTime. If your friend moves to another city, you and she might stay in touch by texting every day. There is also another meaning for stay in touch. We can use it to talk about preserving a part of our personality. For example, if you work in business but love art, you might paint on the weekends to stay in touch with your creative side. If you are interested in music, you might play guitar with your friends to stay in touch with your musical side.

Prince Harry of England enjoys being an uncle. Even though he is an adult, he says that playing with his niece and nephew and his friends’ children helps him stay in touch with his childhood side.

Oh, by email, by WeChat, by telephone, and so on, so many ways I have to touch with my friends.  I prefer to  email to touch with friends whom I haven’t seen neither in the net or in the reality.  And now most of my friends are kept in touch by wechat.

I like the other meaning of this phrase “ stay in touch”.  I take part in certain activities or hobbies to stay in touch with  my some personality of mine.  for example, I keep remembering the english words every day to stay in touch with my ability of memory. I keep writing every day to stay in touch with my Chinese words.  I keep doing exercise to stay in touch with my healthy.
