Justin Timberlake is a superstar. He is the most well known and most loved member of the group NSYNC. He’s rich. He’s talented. He’s good looking. And, he used to date one of the most famous girls in the world. He didn’t need to make his own album. He could have stuck with _NSYNC. That would have been the safe thing to do.
Instead, Justin is taking a chance. He recently released a solo album, titled *Justified*_. The question most people have about it is: Is it any good?

Justified is a great pop album. Produced by Timbaland and the Neptunes, it’s full of great beats and fun, exciting, exhilarating songs. Whether you like dance grooves, romantic ballads or both, you’ll find them all here.
Timberlake is obviously influenced by Michael Jackson. Justified can be compared to Michael Jackson’s first solo album, the 1979 classic Off the Wall. Not only is the music similar, but Justin’s dancing in the video for “Like I Love You” is clearly Michael-esque.
One of the themes that shows up throughout Justified is feelings of pain and sadness about a relationship that went wrong. Being that Justin recently broke up with girlfriend Britney Spears, it’s obvious that he’s singing about her. “Cry Me a River” is a perfect example. Check out some of the lyrics:

Discussion

I have to admit, I’m not a big _NSYNC fan. However, I like Justin Timberlake’s new album. It’s much more interesting than a typical *_NSYNC album, and I would even go so far to say that it’s daring. I think Justin has decided that he wants to show his unique musical ability – and he’s done so.
If you’re a fan of pop music, I’m confident that you’ll like Justified*. You should definitely check it out. It’s one of the best pop albums of the year.
