You can use “look up to” to describe the way you feel about people in your life who are a good example for you. For example, if you love the game of basketball, you might look up to to Michael Jordan, because he is one of the best basketball players of all time. He would be a good role model for you, because you could learn a lot from him. Other people that are often looked up to are parents, grandparents, teachers, older brothers/sisters and anyone else who is successful in whatever it is that they do.
