Migs and I just got back from New York City. We had a wonderful time. There is so much to see and do there, and we tried to do everything.
If you ever get the chance to go to New York City, make sure to keep your eyes open for celebrities. When we were there, we saw a bunch, including Michael Jackson! It was really cool seeing him in person.
Here is a conversation where Migs tells Joe a little about seeing one of the most famous musicians of all time. Have fun!

Joe: So how was New York?
Miguel: Uh, New York was amazing. We had some incredible experiences.
Joe: Like what?
Miguel: Well, the best thing was we saw Michael Jackson in Times Square[/def].
Joe: You saw the actual Michael Jackson?
Miguel: Yeah the real guy. It was crazy he came out of, uh, Virgin Records store and this crowd went wild. It was like a riot.
Joe: Oh wow. Was he doing, like, an in store signing or something?
Miguel: That’s exactly what he was doing. He was signing his new cd and then he came out when he was done. I mean there must have been ten thousand, fifteen thousand fans, and they literally went insane. It was crazy.
Joe: That’s incredible. Does he look just like he looks on TV?
Miguel: Well, it’s kinda hard to tell what he looks like ‘cause he’s changed so much over the years but, um, he, he, looks like he looks on his album cover for sure.
Joe: That’s, that’s, pretty crazy. I wish I could have been there to see it.

I hope you can tell how excited Migs is to have seen Michael Jackson. You should also be able to sense how much Joe would have liked to have been there. It was a very exciting time since it’s very rare that he is seen in public.
Have you seen any famous people? Who were they? Come share your stories at the Life Goes On message board. We’d love to hear them!
