Marni: So what about…
Amanda: Oh Father…
Marni: ...so Jason’s out of the coma. We’re so happy.
Mason: Right.
Marni: But what’s going on with this whole, you know deception thing with he and…
Amanda: Shh. Can you guys keep it down? I’m praying for Devan right now. This is very important. It requires peace, love.
Mason: OK. So, you know, I don’t know why Devan needs any prayer. Like, I think she’s doing awesome. That was some slick maneuvering with the Jason thing.
Marni: Slick? I mean, I think it’s kind of terrible.
Mason: You know, hey, I think it’s a bold move and she shoots, she scores.
Marni: I just don’t see how you can think that. I mean…
Mason: Well, listen. First of all, he kind of likes her anyway. It’s been like a maybe kind of thing for a while and there have been certain factors that have kept it, probably, from happening.
Marni: Certain factors like what?
Mason: Like, uh, you know, the hair. Um…
Marni: What?
Mason: Yeah, the hair. The hair. C’mon. The hair.
Marni: You mean, the fact that she doesn’t have hair is keeping them apart?
Mason: I’m saying it’s an issue. It’s a concern.
Marni: But how? That’s horrible! How can that be an issue?
Mason: It’s a thing. It’s a valid dude thing.
Marni: Valid?
Devan: You guys! You guys! You guys!
Marni: Oh my God.
Amanda: Oh!
Devan: I have amazing news. The doctors, they found this miracle drug that cured my cancer and all my hair grew back.
Amanda: Oh, bless your heart.
Devan: Isn’t that amazing?
Marni: You don’t have cancer?
Devan: I don’t have cancer anymore.
Marni: Oh my God.
Devan: And I have hair!
Mason: I do love the hair. It’s fantastic, really.
Devan: Isn’t that, like, a miracle?
Amanda: Guys, I am two for two right now. Jason. Devan. Two for two. You know what? That’s it. I found my calling. I’m sorry, hun. I’m gonna be a nun. That’s it.
Devan: What?
Mason: What?
Amanda: I’m praying 24/7. Leave me be.
Marni: What?
Amanda: Oh Father…

It has been six months since Devan first told Jason that she had cancer. During that time, he helped her try to get well and she fell in love with him. He secretly told Mason that the only reason he didn’t want to be with her was because she had no hair…then he fell down about a hundred feet and ended up in a coma.
Mason thinks Devan was right to lie to Jason and tell him they were together before he fell, but Marni thinks it’s wrong to deceive someone who has lost his memory.
But just then, Devan walks in and tells everyone that the doctors found a new cure for her cancer. She is healed…and all of her hair amazingly grew back!
Then Amanda announces that since she prayed for Jason and he was cured, then prayed for Devan and she was cured, she will become a nun and dedicate her life to prayer. Everyone, especially her boyfriend Mason, is really surprised.
Now that Devan has hair, do you think that Jason will fall in love with her for real? Do you believe that prayers and good thoughts can heal people?
