Hello!
Getting away for a vacation is a great way to reenergize yourself and revitalize your interest in your normal life. Being away from home makes you realize that there’s a lot of interesting things going on in the world, and it also makes you realize how nice it is to have a place you can call your own.
Miguel was lucky enough to take a quick vacation to San Francisco last week. Listen to our recent conversation to hear all about his adventures.

Miguel

Beth:  Miguel, welcome back from your trip. How was it?

Miguel:  It was actually a lot of fun. It’s hard to complain about spending a week in San Francisco, and the best part about it was the weather was beautiful – perfect blue skies and sun every day.

Beth:  Oh, that’s awesome. Were you outside doing touristy things and exploring the city?

Miguel:  Yeah. Basically, I just walked around the streets for a week, and, uh, I actually spent a lot of time in the parks and, um, close to the water and everything. It’s kind of amazing how much outdoor stuff there is to do in that, in that city.

Beth:  That’s true, and there’s also really good, uh, neighborhoods and kind of cool artistic pockets, I think.

Miguel:  Yeah, it’s neat, because it seems to change. Like, you can walk a few blocks and all of a sudden you’re in a totally new place. And that was really fun to explore all those different areas.

Beth:  Do you have a favorite part of San Francisco?

Miguel:  Well, it’s hard to say, but I spent a lot of time just wandering around Pacific Heights, which is that area where a lot of really wealthy people live, and it was just neat to see all the really big beautiful houses there.

Discussion

I love San Francisco. It’s definitely one of the best cities in the world. I’m glad Miguel got a chance to spend some time there.
I hope you get a chance to take a vacation sometime soon. It’s an important thing to do, because it helps you clear your mind and makes you feel more healthy and free.
Have a great week!
Beth
