If you were married to a famous musician, you might get jealous of all his groupies. But there’s an expression in English, “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.” That must be what Beyonce decided to do. Her husband, Jay-Z, probably has a lot of groupies. But she says she’s a Jay-Z groupie, too.

Then again, Beyonce probably has quite a few groupies herself. A groupie is a person who loves a musician so much, she follows him around and tries to get close to him. Usually groupies are women, but there are male groupies out there, too. And if any female singer was going to have male groupies, it would probably be Beyonce.

Beyonce doesn’t actually follow her husband around or try to sneak into his dressing room during one of his concerts, like a true groupie would. Luckily for her, she doesn’t have to. But she is such a fan of her husband and thinks he’s so hot, she says she is his groupie. Maybe he’s her groupie, too.

I think everybody like to have groupies , but there  were a phrase mentioned above something I cant figure it out , it attracted my attention which is ” Usually groupies are women “ … why women like to be groupies , what do they feel ? Sure not all women but many of them.  at the same time guys or few of them have the same feelings, like to be groupies.


Any way, most other people look down to groupies and they I think kind of disparage them and belittle them. I don’t know if I am wrong or right but I got this result from the replays on this topic by members. Most of them women and guys agree.

i am a groupie. and i have many favorites bands and singers. i always want to see them even in just pictures and ofcourse support there music, love their music and i think we all should be a groupie, coz we feel happy everytime we them, they always put a smile on us and we sometimes learn from them on how to fight and on how to live our life to the fullest ^^
