It’s hard to say goodbye to summer. We’d all like the warm weather, long days and fun trips to continue. But let’s face it: fall is almost here.

At least we have some fun fall fashions to look forward to. The autumn is when designers debut their new lines. In the US, many stores hold sales at this time of year to attract back-to-school shoppers hoping to revamp their look.

Plus, cooler weather means more options for things to wear. You’d look pretty silly wearing a cozy scarf, heavy cardigan, or wool blazer in 100 degree heat. Find out what fashions Jeff and Devan are excited about wearing this fall.

Jeff

Devan

Jeff: So Devan, it’s pretty warm out today. Do you ever get that kind of feeling where you’re actually looking forward to the colder weather, like around fall when you get to start wearing different clothes?

Devan: That’s the main reason I love fall time, is because I just love fall fashion. I like layering, you know, busting out the cardigans and the boots again. I feel like summer fashion is very limiting ‘cause you pretty much live in shorts and tank tops and sandals.

Jeff: Oh yeah.

Devan: You can’t mix it up a lot. But in the fall you have colder days and warmer days, so you can wear jackets and long sleeve shirts, button-ups.

Jeff: You can diversify your wardrobe.

Devan: Exactly.

Jeff: Yeah. I usually go all summer without wearing a shirt, so when fall comes around…

Devan: You bust out the plaid button-up again?

Jeff: Yeah. I’ve got a couple blazers I like to wear. I’ve got some boots I’d like to have re-soled.

Devan: Do you like the fall color scheme? Like do you like to wear lots of oranges and reds and browns?

Jeff: Seems like most people do, but I only wear black, white and grey.

Devan: All year long, no matter what season it is?

Jeff: Pretty much. I’m an exception.

Even though it still feels like summer, Devan is looking forward to the fall when she will be able to start wearing her favorite fall fashions. She says that fall fashion is more versatile than summer fashion, when people wear less clothing and don’t layer.

Jeff is also looking forward to the fall because he has some blazers and boots that he’s excited to wear. But he isn’t planning on wearing fall colors like orange, red and brown. He prefers to wear a simple color scheme of black, white and grey regardless of the season.

well, i can’t choose one, all seasons are good for fashion if u have a good taste . whenever a new season is approaching i always fancy about other season clothes i’d like to wear .i am contented with all most of the clothes i brought home, after few months time u have been stuck with summer, winter or fall and spring clothes , i’d really like to have a change , kind of missing the things i’ve put away for long , the expecting of a totally new season is what exceited me

Fashion is nice and not something that exists in dresses only, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live. I love fashion but I am not the label one, I shop based on what I like not who makes it, just like wear something comfy. Anyway the nice advice that I read about fashion and style, an easy way to transition from summer to fall is by using key pieces like a cardigan and a scarf. My favorite season is spring and i have some new fall clothes that i bought last year. Actually, i buy new clothes when they are on sale. The shops usually get their clothes on sale when the season passes on. so i get some clothes at a reduced price. As a result, i can wear the clothes after one year. i can hardly wait to come another season soon. well.. how about you guys? Do you usually buy new clothes at a marked price, or a reduced price?

well I prefer fall too ! I dislike Winter in Beijing ,,its pretty cold that you can image. sometime you should wear lots of clothes to keep warm so look like a big bear. fall is the best season in Beijing ,not cold no heat ,you can plan wear a diverse clothes if you have time .I dont know what is fashion, I dont care if what is big brands ,i will buy it and wear it as long as i like it .
