Dominique: OK, the relatively short walk did have its ups and downs, but Kelsey is certainly exaggerating.
Kelsey: Exaggerating?! When have I ever exaggerated?!
Dominique: Anyways… So, we parked in the far parking lot so that way, when we leave, we wouldn’t get stuck in a traffic jam. And then, we took a shortcut through some trees. And then, we got to the reservoir and had to go around to get to Andy. So, yes, the journey did have its ups and downs for each of us!
Kelsey: It’s lucky that we made it.
Dominique: Well, we had plenty of time.
Jordin: We should wake up Andy. He made us get here so early!
Dominique: That’s true, but…
Jordin: Andy, it’s starting!

Dominique admits that her and Kelsey’s walk to the park did have its ups and downs. But, it wasn’t as bad as Kelsey described. Dominique says that Kelsey is exaggerating. Kelsey, of course, denies this. She never exaggerates. It doesn’t look like Jordin believes her.
Dominique says they did park in the far parking lot in order to avoid a traffic jam later. On the walk to meet Andy, Kelsey enjoyed a soda pop, relaxed on a bench in the forest, and then went down a slide. She even had time to pick some flowers. So, the journey had its ups and downs for both girls.
What are some ups and downs that you have recently experienced? Are you able to take the good with the bad?
